Design 6: Project 4 - "Genesis Advertising Agency"

Presentation Boards
PROJECT INFO:
The proposed advertising agency is very concerned with the relationship between the natural environment, employee health and the workplace. It strives to promote environmentally friendly media and the overall preservation of the natural world, so the design should reflect these values. This includes utilizing a “green” approach to its design by using environmentally friendly materials, reducing reliance on non sustainable energy sources, reusing, recycling, etc.

CONCEPT INFO:
“Genesis” is intended to feel like a giant living organism. It features several elements akin to various internal bio-organic systems such as skeletal, muscular, and cardiovascular. However this interpretation of structural “anatomy” is not exclusively limited to that of human being or an animal, and could quite possibly perceived as exotic plant life on a larger scale. To best summarize, it is a benign beast beyond the full comprehension of mankind. The creation of this larger organism is to emphasize the occurrence of symbiosis in nature. In this instance, the “smaller organisms” would be the employees to personify the space and to further highlight it’s impact and scale. The term “Genesis” is a biblical reference to the creation of all living organisms.
